Maidenhead Thicket Bowls club had a disappointing weekend. Losing in both, their friendly and Top club, matches.

Saturday (13/05/23) saw them on the wrong end of a very narrow defeat to Burnham. Top rink consisted of Gill Gibbs, Bernard Clark and Gemma Hanks.

Sunday's (14/05/23) Top club game against Maidenhead Town was not so tight as Town run out winners 5-0. We wish them all the best for the remainder of the competition.

Some positive news came in the County Competitions where several Triples, on both the Men's and Ladies side, progressed through against some very strong opposition.

This weekend sees Thicket away to Windsor and Eton on Sunday in both the Mixed double fours (AM) and Club friendly (PM)
