Maidenhead Thicket Bowls club got their friendly season underway with a trip to Bassetsbury Manor on Sunday 23/04/2023.
The game was played in a great spirit with Bassetsbury coming out victors with a 116 - 93 win.
Top rink for Thicket was that of Vivienne Davies, Bob Wyborn and Tommy Hanks.
Vivienne was playing in her first ever match along with her husband Chris.
Thicket have a game at home, next to the Shire Horse pub, against Thame on Saturday Afternoon 29/04/2023 .
